How quickly can the Y20E be charged?
With fast charging, the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in approximately one hour. Standard charging requires approximately 4–5 hours for 20% to 80%.

The Yuchai Y20E Electric Excavator is a battery-powered compact excavator developed for contractors, rental fleets and equipment distributors that need productive excavation with zero tailpipe emissions and low operating noise.
Built around a 33.38 kWh LFP battery system, the Y20E provides 6–8 hours of standard endurance, fast charging capability and the digging performance required for everyday compact excavation. Its narrow body, adjustable undercarriage and compact working envelope make it particularly suitable for urban construction, indoor projects, landscaping, residential work and other sites where access, noise or exhaust emissions restrict the use of conventional machines.
One of the main reasons to specify the Yuchai Y20E Electric Excavator instead of a larger conventional excavator is site access.
The machine measures approximately 3,845 mm long and 1,080 mm wide, with an undercarriage adjustable from 1080 to 1380 mm. This gives contractors a narrow transport and access configuration while allowing the undercarriage to be expanded when additional working stability is required.
