Collaboration and Mutual Support for a Win-Win Future—Yuchai Successfully Holds the 2024 Supply Chain Partner Conference

The Yuchai 2024 Supply Chain Partner Conference was successfully held on January 13th, bringing together over 200 core supplier partners in Yulin to plan for the future development with Yuchai.

The company reviewed the past three years on the conference during which Yuchai, along with hundreds of supplier partners, weathered challenges together, exerting full efforts to ensure the supply and production, and achieving significant breakthroughs for Yuchai. These breakthroughs spanned from domestic to international markets, from commercial vehicles to marine and electric power, and from light to heavy machinery, encompassing both traditional and new energy power solutions, meeting the demands of end customers and the market. The robust and healthy development of Yuchai owes much to the wholehearted support of all its suppliers. In 2023, Yuchai witnessed a comprehensive growth in market share for Chinese-stage-VI-emission commercial vehicle, securing the top position in various sub-markets for general machinery power, including crawler excavators, mining trucks, forklifts, aerial work platforms, explosion-proof machinery, as well as wheat and corn harvesters. Additionally, there was a substantial year-on-year increase in overseas market engine exports.

Li Hanyang, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yuchai Group, pointed out that Yuchai's philosophy is rooted in the belief that "only by helping customers succeed can Yuchai thrive." Each unit and individual in this chain, faced with the complex and ever-changing market environment, must maintain unwavering confidence, confront challenges head-on, support each other, evolve continuously, avoid falling behind, and collectively head towards mutual success. It is a collaborative effort aimed at shared success.

The conference recognized and commended outstanding suppliers in categories such as on-time delivery, value contribution, research and development collaboration, zero-defect quality, as well as outstanding business managers.

      After the conference, visitors toured the Yuchai Heavy Industry production facility, expressing great admiration for the production of small excavators and electric products.
