Yuchai Heavy Industry Holds 2024 Quality Month Kickoff Ceremony

September 2024 marks the 47th National "Quality Month." To implement the theme "Quality Awareness Begins in the Heart, Responsibility Is Practiced in Action" and to effectively promote the various tasks of Quality Month, Yuchai Heavy Industry held a "Quality Month" kickoff ceremony on September 2. All employees of Yuchai Heavy Industry participated in the ceremony.

During the kickoff ceremony, Yuchai Heavy Industry's Chief Technology Officer, Liang Xiaodong, communicated the Quality Month activity plan to all employees and initiated the mobilization for Quality Month. He summarized the current opportunities and challenges faced by the company, emphasizing the Yuchai survival philosophy: "Only by helping customers succeed can Yuchai survive." He highlighted that providing customers with stable and qualified products is the company's pursuit.Liang Xiaodong also outlined three key requirements for quality work: First, All leaders and units must place great importance on and actively participate in the Quality Month series of activities, with a strong focus on improving product quality; Second, In line with the theme of the activities, all employees are encouraged to "Cultivate a Quality Culture, Promote the Spirit of Craftsmanship," ensuring that "Quality Assurance Starts with Me." This involves paying attention to detail, striving for perfection, and proactively fulfilling responsibilities, in line with the mission of enhancing product quality; Third, when encountering quality issues, employees should not complain or retreat. Instead, they should unite, brainstorm, take responsibility, and proactively address problems to continuously improve product quality and enhance customer satisfaction.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, company leaders led all employees in signing the "Quality Awareness Begins in the Heart, Responsibility Is Practiced in Action" pledge, demonstrating their commitment to quality work and their resolve to achieve "zero defects, zero tolerance." The company is dedicated to striving toward the goal of "zero defects," continuously improving product quality, and driving the high-quality development of the company.
