Yuchai Heavy Industry hosts”Mid-Autumn Festival ＆ National Day”Festivities

As the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day approach, aiming to enrich the holiday experience for company employees and promote traditional Chinese culture, on the evening of September 25th, Yuchai Heavy Industry's labor union organized departments to engage in "Celebrating Mid-Autumn, Commemorating National Day" activities at the Employee Activity Center.

The event kicked off with some warm-up games. Union President Chen Jie encouraged everyone to explore poems related to the moon or songs associated with the country, both centered around the themes of "moon" and "country." Whether ancient or modern poetry, any piece fitting the theme could be selected. During this session, employees showcased high cultural literacy and a rich reservoir of poems and songs, earning enthusiastic applause. Of course, carefully prepared mooncakes served as prizes, allowing those with correct answers to savor a variety of mooncakes, adding a delightful tinge to the event.

Following that, the competition continued with table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and basketball, organized by department groups. The relay format was adopted for each category, including men's singles, women's singles, and mixed doubles. The matches were played up to 61 points, with 20 points as a checkpoint, and the team reaching 61 points first would win. In the end, the scores from all four sports were added up to determine the overall rankings.

Throughout the competition, each participating athlete exuded enthusiasm, vigorously wielding their rackets, embodying the spirit of tenacity, perseverance, unity, and cooperation to the fullest. Every match was exceptionally intense, with participants showcasing their signature skills. Strong contenders continually emerged, elevating the competition to thrilling heights. The players' swift attacks and tight defenses garnered enthusiastic cheers from the spectators. Adhering to the principle of "friendship first, competition second," the participants truly showcased their style and skill, demonstrating a spirit of tenacity, fierce competition, and a positive and proactive attitude.

This event concluded in a competitive yet harmonious atmosphere. Both sides showcased their skills and sportsmanship. The competition served a dual purpose – on one hand, alleviating the work pressure for employees, allowing them to release psychological stress through sports; on the other hand, it strengthened their physical fitness, enabling them to engage in work with renewed enthusiasm.
