From August 6 to 9, Yuchai Group convened its 2026 Strategy and Tactics Seminar in Quanzhou County, Guilin. All middle and senior management personnel of the group gathered at the event, carrying forward the revolutionary spirit of the Battle of the Xiangjiang River, to jointly deliberate and map out the group’s future development strategies and tactics.

The meeting decided to upgrade Yuchai’s "1335" strategy, with the detailed framework as follows:
1 Core Goal: To become a world-class power system supplier.
3 Business Tracks: Traditional power, new energy power, and intelligent equipment.
3 Strategic Approaches: Technology leadership, overseas expansion, and service chain extension.
5 Supporting Capabilities: R&D capability, manufacturing capability, marketing capability, service capability, and brand capability.

The meeting pointed out that adjusting the original three guiding principles — full business coverage, innovation upgrading, and core strength building — into the three strategic approaches of technology leadership, overseas expansion and service chain extension is a rational, science-backed decision made by Yuchai in light of its development stage and the evolving competitive landscape. Recently, the CPC Committee, the People’s Government and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region have offered strategic counsel and clear direction for Yuchai’s development, providing important guidance for this strategic upgrade.
The convening of this Strategy and Tactics Seminar marks the further maturation and finalization of Yuchai’s strategic framework for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
